  • Meek Mill's Judge Allowed Him To Do Business With Convicted Felon

The saga continues in Meek Mill's legal battle.

Protesters marched through the streets chanting "Free Meek Mill" and rapping one of his most popular songs, "Dreams and Nightmares", outside the city's Criminal Justice Center, where Mill was sentenced last week to up to four years in prison for a probation violation.

Separately, the New York Post reported on Monday that the Philadelphia judge who sentenced Meek, Genece Brinkley, is now the focus of an Federal Bureau of Investigation probe. "The feds have an interest in the judge and [her] potential relationships", the site reports of the FBI's exclusive statement. "This is an investigation looking into a possible extortionate demand", a source told Page Six.

TMZ has obtained a court transcript in which the Assistant D.A.in Meek's case reminded the judge that she made a big exception for Meek associating with Charlie Mack. Undercover agents have been in the courtroom and followed Mill's case ever since April of past year. Brinkley reportedly said she would make an exception for Mack on the record.

Mack, on the other hand, denies any sort of relationship to Brinkley, Page Six adds.

The source continued, "Mack had previously told Meek how he 'knows the judge and he could help him with his case'". "She's a judge. You could pull any judge in America and ask them how many times they've showed up at a community service for a probation and the answer is zero". "There is no conspiracy, Meek is an old friend of 30-plus years".

In handing down what Tacopina called a "ridiculous" sentence, Brinkley also went against the recommendations of both the district attorney and Meek's probation officer.

"Per [Justice Department] policy, we neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations", a representative for the FBI Philly field office said.
