AT&T (T) has most states in the bag for its FirstNet wireless public safety network, with Thursday the final day for states and most US territories to announce decisions on taking part in the project.
Gov. Chris Sununu announced his intention to opt-in to the nationwide network for first responders after previously deciding to opt-out and go with an alternative vendor. While New Hampshire has said it will opt out, it's still in talks with FirstNet. During the rollout, AT&T said it will continue to explore upgrades like 5G.

American Samoa, Guam and Northern Marianas have until March 12 to decide to opt in. Some had explored other options, but ultimately made a decision to go with FirstNet.
