Assassin's Creed Origins will be receiving some big content updates this year starting this month.

The Hidden Ones is the first DLC expansion for Ubisoft's latest Assassin's Creed game and is due to launch this month.

While previous content has been limited to combat events and various costume packs, this month marks the launch of The Hidden Ones. This New Game+ or New Game Plus mode will let players start the game all over again with their old save files, which they used to finish the main story once.

Assassin's Creed Origins season pass holders will be able to get The Hidden Ones for no additional charge while everyone else will have to pay for it. Ubisoft is yet to reveal more information about this expansion.

This will let the players keep all their upgrades and weapons and armor and enjoy them in a new game+ mode with much harder difficulties compared to the default in order to scale with their endgame gear. Ubisoft claims there is new story to play through and an increased level cap of 45.

In addition, Heka chests will now have more items available as rewards, adding items from the Nightmare, First Civilization, Gladiator, and Wacky packs into the pool of items players can win. Other than that, a new option to sell outfits will be implemented to the game. The exact release date of "The Hidden Ones" has yet to be announced. Once that's over, players will be able to take on the devious Sobek from January 23 to January 30. Finally, the Warden's Oath outfit hits the Ubisoft Club also on January 30.
