After explaining his journey with The Disaster Artist, a tribute to "the best worst movie ever made", nominated star James Franco shared with E!

Upon accepting the award, Franco called Wiseau up to the stage to join him.

"Come on up here, Tommy", Franco summoned the long-haired Wiseau from the stage. During his acceptance speech, Franco blocked Wiseau from obtaining the microphone when he reached for its and then pulled it away as he laughed; Most likely in attempt to spare Wiseau, who is known for his outspoken banter, from an even more viral moment. "Golden Globz, I don't care, I'm not invited". News' Ryan Seacrest the details of a pre-Golden Globes dinner party he hosted on Saturday night. "I don't wait for them, I make my own movie, '" Franco said.

He won a Golden Globe playing the title character in the 2002 biopic "James Dean".

"I used to want my own Coen brother, someone to collaborate with", James Franco said. Wiseau directed and starred in the 2003 film.

Receiving a somewhat chillier reception was Tonya Harding, the champion figure skater who was the subject of this year's I, Tonya and linked to the 1994 attack on fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan.
