  • These are the Sony Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2

The phones that Sony is working on now include - Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2. Ahead of the launch, some new renders of all the phones together have surfaced online, showing the devices in all its glory. Well, it's happening again but this time in a press render format and it's accompanied by two other Sony phones, the Xperia XA2 and Xperia L2 with some rumoured tech-specs too. Additionally, Sony has always been critised for not upgrading the design of their phones, and the company may follow the same with its upcoming flagships as well. The firm is said to be updating its XA and L-series with three new devices, namely XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2. The XA2 will arrive with a 21-megapixel, 4K capable camera on the back, along with a 7-megapixel front-facing snapper and the XA2 Ultra will get the same rear camera, but will have dual-15-megapixel front-facing cameras, which ties in with the recent rumour. The smartphone may be packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expandable via microSD. On the inside, the XA2, along with the rest of Sony's 2018 low and mid-range phones, will utilize the Snapdragon 630 instead of MediaTek chipsets. And whereas the Xperia XA1 has a 5.0-inch, 720 x 1280 display, the 5.2-inch XA2 (pictured above and below) looks to offer the same full HD, 1080 x 1920 resolution as the larger 6.0-inch XA2 Ultra (whose display characteristics are remaining unchanged, year-to-year).

Compared to the Xperia XA2, the XA2 Ultra will be much bigger in size. However, the Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra (pictured top and below), and L2, as they'll be known, may also be held for a February debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, as they have been in past years. Specifically, the XA2 is listed with a 21MP, 4K-capable rear camera and 7MP front-facing selfie cam. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB SSD and runs Android Oreo.
