Metal Gear Survive Launch Trailer Pelted With Downvotes During Release

  • Metal Gear Survive second beta kicks off

Metal Gear Survive's launch trailer begins by setting the stage.

The screenplay arc of Metal Gear Survive resumes where the one of the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero ended.

Survive won't launch on Steam until 6pm CT tomorrow, February 21, but a few patches are now live on the PS4 and Xbox One versions to hopefully allow players to access the title and its online functionality.

As soon as Metal Gear Survive was announced I pretty much knew microtransactions would be involved, and it's no surprise that Konami is chasing the revenue model. Instead, it incorporates special survival-based elements with online multiplayer, co-op, and single-player modes.

If you will be playing the game on Xbox One - you can probably expect a similar download size. According to multiple sources and Konami, the game will inquire a good set of skills for more comfortable progress, which players may found quite challenging. Up to three other players can join your game to explore the world and complete missions with you. Now, you could choose any of the entries and still have a blast shooting undead Nazis with your pals but the most recent iteration is definitely worth checking out. So if the release of the game has got you itching to jump into some horde-mode action game with your buddies, here are five games like Metal Gear Survive if you're looking for something similar.
