In the coming weeks, Lens will be available to all Google Photos English-language users who have the latest version of the app on Android and iOS. Google Lens, which made its debut in Google's flagship smartphone Pixel 2 previous year is a photo analyzing app powered by AI that resides in Google Photos.

Well starting today users of Android devices can Lens in Google Photos.

However, Google's expansion game has been playing out well as the market remains excited by the practical Lens tool in Google Photos, allowing Android users to have a taste of the AI-powered image recognition app. Lens then made its way to Google Assistant in November, but remained a Pixel-exclusive feature. After picking the photo, tap on the Google Lens icon bar which is located next to the delete bin.

Also, Google Lens will be compatible with all Android phones running Android v6.0 Marshmallow or later, meaning a little over 51 percent of all Android phones in the world will be able to enjoy the camera feature. For example, you're in an unfamiliar place and want to know more about a landmark in front of you, just open your Lens on Google Photos and it will give you what you need to know.

Will Lens work for your Android device?

Google Lens' wider support is rolling out on a gradual basis, and everyone should have the update in the next few days, Google tweeted.

We still can't forget company CEO Sundar Pichai's Google Lens demo at the Google I/O 2017 event.
