Warren: 'I'm Not Running for President in 2020′

  • 1/27/2018- Roxbury MA- Malden High School- Senator Elizabeth Warren hosted her first town hall of the new year on Sunday afternoon

Basing her claim on family lore and high cheek bones, the MA lawmaker and potential 2020 presidential candidate is now being called on to take a DNA test for real proof. "I'm not running for president".

Sen. Elizabeth Warren knows who she is - and doesn't need a DNA test to prove it.

In the speech, Warren, who doesn't claim citizenship in a tribe, said, "My mother's family was part Native American".

"All the senator needs to do is spit into a tube, wait a few weeks and get her answer", the paper said. It's much easier for the slightly more masculine version of Bernie Sanders to buy off American Indian activists in classic identity politics style than to put some actual skin in her racial game.

"Look, I do know. Warren's potential appeal as a national candidate constitutes too much of a threat", the western MA newspaper editorialized. Her father's family, Warren said, was opposed to his marrying Warren's mother because she was part Native American, and the couple went on to make it through "hard times" and raise her and her three brothers. Instead, she responded by telling the story of her parents, who she said met as teenagers in Oklahoma.

"You know, I was watching, during the campaign, and Hillary [Clinton] was sitting right there, and Pocahontas was up, she was so angry, you know, I think she's losing the audience", Trump said, referring to Warren's support in 2016 of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonWoman behind pro-Trump Facebook page denies being influenced by Russians Trump: CNN, MSNBC "got scammed" into covering Russian-organized rally Pennsylvania Democrats set to win big with new district map MORE.

Warren then said that "more than half of all native women have been the victims of sexual violence", and the "United States government does nothing about that". She said "no one" could take that away from her.

Harvard Law School professor Charles Fried, who helped recruit Warren, has called any suggestion she enjoyed an affirmative-action benefit "nonsense".

In an op-ed titled, "Taking a DNA test could solve at least one of Elizabeth Warren's political problems", Vennochi took a pot shot at Trump as she acknowledged that the issue must be dealt with.
