Weeks after President Donald Trump thanked Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince for his country's use of USA military power, the US -backed coalition bombed a wedding party in Yemen, killing at least 20 civilians including the bride.

Many women and children among those killed in a wedding tent in Hajjah's Bani Qays district, medical official says.

Video footage of a boy who survived the attack spread through social media, showing the child clinging to the body of what appeared to be his deceased father.

The coalition said another missile crashed in a Saudi desert on Sunday, without specifying a location, adding it caused no damage.

This crime comes days after the threat of the coalition spokesman of the US-Saudi aggression, Turki al-Maliki, to launch more brutal strikes against the Yemeni people.

Huthi rebels who control most of northern Yemen blamed the Sunday attack on a Saudi-led Arab coalition that backs the country's government.




The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights announced in a statement on March 25 that the Saudi-led war had left 600,000 civilians dead and injured since March 2015.

The coalition has carried out 1000's of air strikes in Yemen which have hit faculties, markets and hospitals, killing tons of of individuals - although it says it doesn't goal civilians.

The Yemen war has killed more than 10,000 people, displaced more than 2 million and driven the country to the verge of starvation, according to the United Nations.
