It is not just conservative commentary that talk show host and Fox News anchor Sean Hannity is good at. Michael Cohen case shines light on Sean Hannity's property empire tells an all too familiar tale of Mr. Hannity not disclosing personal and business relationships to his audience. The cable news titan is linked through the records to a number of shell, limited liability companies that spent at least $90 million on more than 870 properties spread over seven states during the past decade. The properties range from luxurious mansions to rentals for low-income families.

Michael Cohen. Mary Altaffer/AP While Hannity is listed as the hidden owner behind some of the shell companies, his attorney, Christopher Reeves, did not dispute to The Guardian that Hannity owns all of them.

I used another quote from The Guardian in the recent Spuds Hannity comic.

When news broke in open court that Sean Hannity was the secret third client of President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen, many raised concerns over his ethics because he had not disclosed the professional relationship.

Hannity was recently exposed as Cohen's clientt, but contends that he never kept Cohen on retainer and asserts that Cohen gave him real estate advice.

The host, however, has criticized former President Obama in the past for the rate of U.S. foreclosures, saying in 2016 there were "millions more Americans suffering under this president".

"I've said many times on my radio show: I hate the stock market, I prefer real estate".

Further, said the newspaper, "dozens" of those properties were bought at a discount in 2013, "after banks foreclosed on their previous owners for defaulting on mortgages".

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for adult film actress Stormy Daniels who is now suing President Donald Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen, said Sunday that Hannity's work with Cohen was likely "far more extensive" than the conservative media personality has let on. But the television host didn't disclose that fact in June when he had HUD Secretary Ben Carson on air and praised his department's and the Trump administration's privatization proposals. The properties are located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Vermont.
