A woman in the Phoenix area is accused of stalking a man she met online, sending him thousands of text messages and breaking into his home after the two went on a date, police said.
She was taken into custody on May 8 and faces felony charges of stalking and threatening and intimidating, as well as a misdemeanor count of harassment. Four months later, the man was out-of-town but called detectives and said he had spotted Ades near his home while reviewing security footage, according to police. During this time, officers found a large butcher knife on the passenger seat of Ades' vehicle. She reportedly showed up at the man's place of employment in Scottsdale on Tuesday, but was escorted from the building by officers. Paradise Valley cops got wind of the incident, and busted her in Phoenix.
She was booked into 4th Avenue Jail on threatening, stalking, harassment and failure to appear charges.
At one point, court documents say she was sending the man hundreds of text messages per day.
According to the news outlet, Ades called herself the "new Hitler" in another text.
The victim says he met her online and the pair went on one date more than a year ago, and now she won't leave him alone.
"Defendant stated that she did not want to hurt victim because she loved him and that she threatened him because she did not want him to leave", added the report.
"Defendant stated that she sent the threatening text messages to victim because she was scared that he called the police on her", the police report states. The man said that numerous messages were threatening, including multiple death threats, and he wanted to press charges.
It was not known if Ades had an attorney who could speak on her behalf. In another message, the woman wrote she wanted to wear the man's body parts and bathe in his blood.
While being questioned by police, Ades reportedly admitted that her actions were "crazy".
