NBA Draft: Who is Svi Mykhailiuk, the Lakers' 47th pick?

  • Betting world going crazy for LeBron-Kawhi Lakers union

So no matter who the Lakers ended up drafting at No. 25, they were getting a player they ultimately didn't have a shot at with their second round picks.

In the trade market, the Spurs appear to be deadset on keeping Kawhi Leonard out of the Western Conference. It's time for them to make a splash and return to relevancy.

Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James's number one issue item is the future of the "King" nicknamed player after a 4-0 loss to the Golden State Warriors in the final.

If they don't want to re-sign him at a lower cost, it's not a certainty he gets an National Basketball Association job next season. UFA stands for Unrestricted Free Agent, and RFA means Restricted Free Agent. The Cavs will explore adding another All-Star in hopes of enticing James to stay, though it's hard to believe they can pull off a significant deal with their assets.

While shooting is the hallmark skill for both Wagner and Mykhailiuk, the Lakers will be focused on bringing out these other talents.

Perhaps even more amazingly, only two of the players on the list (Glenn Robinson and Mitch McGary) were tabbed as top-70 players out of high school (although Wagner was not given a numerical ranking due to residing outside the U.S.).

Philadelphia is the best team that has the ability to sign a max free agent.

Paul, who plays for the Houston Rockets, has been doing everything to persuade James of joining him in the Space City. National Basketball Association rules prohibit teams from negotiating with free agents until midnight on July 1.

Former No.1 overall pick Markelle Fultz is still a valuable trade piece, despite missing most of last season.

And don't expect this to be the last move Philly makes in relation to the draft. Surprisingly, he was one of the best rookies this season.

He was too risky to leave alone, shooting 39.4 percent on 3-pointers, averaging 1.6 triples per game and cementing himself as one of the top pick-and-pop weapons in all of college basketball.

The 2018 NBA Draft is still about 12 hours away, but we've already had our first trade.
