Employee Huiyue Zheng, 32, and customer Christina Thomas, 21, were busted for a variety of charges including misdemeanor assault, harassment and menacing.

They then turn to another shopper who is helping her granddaughter escape the clutches of the staff members and start beating her in the back.

"So I'm at the nail salon and they f**ked up a lady's eyebrow and she refused to pay then a fight broke out", wrote the person who captured the video on Facebook.

At one point, she was seen being held as they waited for police. Zheng was released from jail on her own recognizance after a hearing in Brooklyn Criminal Court, cops said.

The video has been viewed more than 200,000 times.

Surveillance video released by the Chinese American Nail Association shows the verbal argument escalating into a physical fight.

One woman explained to the Times that the racial tensions underlying the incident had motivated the local community to come out in force: "The black community has been pushed aside for generations, and it just seems as if the longer time goes on, the more people think we're simply going to go away", said Alexis Regnier, a 33-year-old health worker from Midwood.

Zhing was hospitalized with visible injuries to her face and body, and Thomas refused medical attention, according to police.

According to The New York Daily News, police were also looking to arrest a second employee who allegedly threw liquid on the customers.

There is a man holding one of the women as the workers attack at the New Red Apple Nails on Norstrand Avenue in East Flatbush.

"I'm expecting justice, but most of all I'm expecting black people to learn that when these business don't respect you, you don't spend your money with them", one protester, Tionna Smalls, told ABC7 NY.

Hours earlier, officers had to do the same thing back at 1426 Nostrand Ave. and helped employees get through protesters to safety.

According to News12, the salon closed for the rest of the day. "That's it", Smalls told the New York Post.

"We need them to know they can not make any money when they treat our grandmothers like this".
