Sacha Baron Cohen interviews OJ Simpson about a murder fantasy

  • Former congressman Barney Frank was a skeptical guest on the finale of Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Who Is America?”

Baron Cohen also joked that if he did kill his girlfriend, he would have Simpson introduce him to Johnnie Cochran, the lawyer who helped get Simpson acquitted for the 1994 murders.

Sacha Baron Cohen may be a master of disguise, but one person he interviewed for the "Who is America?" season finale apparently was not fooled.

In a segment on Sunday's episode, Cohen disguised himself as a "billionaire playboy and fashion photographer from Milan" named Gio Monaldo. In an attempt to get her to recognize Simpson, Cohen says Simpson was a Buffalo Bill and an actor in the "Naked Gun" films.

The segment, which aired Sunday night, was filmed in a hotel room with the comedian interviewing the former National Football League star and trying to get him to talk about the brutal murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in 1994, crimes for which Simpson was later charged and then acquitted.

"Oopsy daisy", Simpson replied with a laugh.

After Cohen's pretend girlfriend left, Simpson told the fake interviewer she was "gorgeous". "I want to send her on a private helicopter and throw her over the Grand Canyon -oopsie daisie!"

However, his jovial demeanor and the high five that he offered Baron Cohen seemed incriminating enough to us. "No, no possibly I ship her on a bungee leap, - oop the cord", Gio persisted."Lower cord further long - oh too long", Simpson mentioned, taking half in along.More: Sacha Baron Cohen as Ali G takes aim at Trump, presents him "respeck" for being 'a prison'More: Sacha Baron Cohen, Corey Lewandowski teach about racism and Trump's Charlottesville responseO.J.

"We want you to be 100% truthful about how you got away with it", Cohen said.

"No, I ain't kill nobody", Simpson said, laughing. "Ah, I didn't either", Cohen replies. "We had been divorced and separated for two years".

This was the final episode of the series, but you can learn more by visiting the Who Is America? page at Showtime.com. Even if you've enjoyed Who Is America? every single week - and if you have: really? - you have to admit that it'd probably be tough for Cohen to bait even more people into saying and doing very bad, hateful things, now that his latest characters have drawn so much media attention. "And he wants you to tell him".

"He's obsessed with what happened that night with the wife", Cohen's character told Simpson.

"Nicole and Ron are two human beings who were brutally murdered".

The cancelled episode comes after Palin previously spoke about the whole thing on "Good Morning America", with her calling Cohen a "proven liar".
