Samsung leaks video of its new iPhone killer

  • Will the Galaxy Note 9 cost $1,000 like the Note 8

Furthermore, there were worries that the 512GB version of the Galaxy Note 9 wouldn't make it out of South Korea, but its leak on a New Zealand-based website suggests otherwise.

And guess what: It has a headphone jack! In terms of memory, the Galaxy Note 9 will be equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The video, that has now been taken down, teases and also confirms some of the top features of the Galaxy Note 8 successor. To prevent users from smearing the dual cameras while accessing the fingerprint scanner, Samsung has repositioned the latter by placing it below the camera module.

What about the S Pen? That's only major change that can be seen on the entire design of the phone.

The truth is, though, for productivity and entertainment powerhouse devices like the Note 9, having big internal storage space in the armoury is very desirable. Maybe that's something Samsung is holding back until the press event.

As you might have guessed from its name, Samsung Health is one of many fitness apps out there.

The video gives us a look at the "all new powerful" S Pen, but there's no mention of the Bluetooth functionality we heard about in previous rumors. Samsung likes to get in early.

Last year, Samsung set a new record for its smartphones, launching the Galaxy Note 8 for an eye-watering $1,499.

Leaks and official announcements only confirm rumours and speculations around the Galaxy Note 9. Apart from this, the phone features a 4000mAh battery with fast and wireless charging, which is being touted by the company as one of its key talking points.

Meanwhile, in a separate leak, the phone's price too has been revealed.
