  • Napoli explains Chelsea: Sarri will not expect offence from N’Golo Kante

Hazard has made a blistering start to the season by scoring seven goals in his first eight Chelsea appearances in all competitions, including a spectacular solo strike to eliminate Liverpool from the Carabao Cup in Wednesday's third-round tie at Anfield.

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp says his side are itching to "strike back" at Chelsea following their League Cup defeat against the Blues as they seek the ideal response by extending their flawless start to the Premier League season on Saturday.

"It was a hard match on Wednesday and it will be a very hard match tomorrow".

Sarri has urged Hazard to show more intensity on the training ground like he does in games to reach his true potential. He is a genius I think, he is unique.

The Reds are the only team with a 100 per-cent record in the league but they were powerless to prevent Hazard inspiring Chelsea to a cup win, his free-kick helping to force the equaliser before a stunning 85th-minute victor.

After Wednesday's match he was described by Chelsea assistant boss Gianfranco Zola as one of the best players in the world, while the club's former captain John Terry went a step further, saying in an Instagram post that Hazard is number one on that front. "After the draw against West Ham (last Sunday) we are back on top, we won against one of the best in the world at the moment, so Saturday we are going to be ready for the game".

Hazard was introduced as a substitute in the second half and he helped Chelsea come from behind to win 2-1.

Pep Guardiola's side will expect to pick up three more points when they host Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad. He is certainly passionate as a manager and his players respect him whereas we are not sure the same can be said of Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho over in Manchester.

Jurgen Klopp admits Eden Hazard poses a major threat to Liverpool's chances this weekend, but was full of praise for other Chelsea players, too. It is not important how many goals I score.

"You can see it on the field - we've got new players, people who love possession of the ball", he said.

"We all know we could have defended that goal he scored".

That's according to Blues manager Maurizio Sarri who has issued a challenge to the Belgian.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are yet to taste defeat over 90 minutes this season in the league.
