Cardi B was given a summons on Monday for misdemeanour reckless endangerment and assault in connection with a melee at a NY strip club. The New York Police Department tells CBS News that she faces charges of of reckless endangerment and assault.

The charges stem from an August 29 incident at the Angels Strip Club in Queens. As a result, new reports are claiming that Cardi B has turned herself into the police!

The charges involve a fight and assault in the Angels Strip Club, in NY, on 29 August when Cardi B, along with some in her entourage, is alleged to have thrown furniture recklessly, causing injuries to employees' feet and legs. According to bartenders Baddie Gi and Jade, Cardi ordered her crew to beat up the women after rumors spread that Jade had been sexually involved with the "Taki Taki" rhymer's husband, Offset.

"We are aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm from that night", her lawyer, Jeff Kern, told reporters.

The Bronx native was reportedly "throwing chairs, bottles and hookahs [smoking pipes] in the club at 3 a.m.", said the rep. "We expect that the matter is going to be resolved expeditiously".

Later, on Instagram Cardi B allegedly sent an aimed post at Minaj claiming she had made disparaging remarks about her ability to be a good mother - following the birth of her and rapper Offset's daughter.

"But reality is setting in, as justice does not care whether her name is Cardi B or Carly B, and she will now answer for her crimes".

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, will turn herself in to cops in Flushing, sources confirmed to WPIX.

She and Minaj have been rap rivals since Cardi B began achieving huge success over the past year.

Cardi B surrendered to a Queens police station and was to be charged, although the exact charges were not immediately clear.
