The OnePlus 6T is on the way, and just like the OnePlus 6, it appears that it will have some special offers in India at launch. That will make the OnePlus 6T the first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor that will be widely available to buy in the US. One of the major differences in the OnePlus 6T is that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.

OnePlus 6T pre-bookings open on Amazon India today at 12 noon.

OnePlus 6T is set to be unveiled in India on October 30.

There are, as far as we know, very few surprises in store after what has been a very leaky time for pre-release phones.

After a series of teasers and videos, OnePlus has finally announced the launch date for OnePlus 6T as October 30. The attendees will also get to try the new OnePlus 6T smartphone at the experience zone at the launch venue. Chances are they could be hidden inside or on the sides of the display like on some of the recently launched Oppo and Vivo phones. The listing also notes that buyers will get free USB-C Bullets earphones, as well as Amazon Pay credit worth Rs. 500.

As per previous reports, OnePlus 6T is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED full-HD+ display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options and up to 256GB of onboard storage. We also expect the OnePlus 6T to ship with Android 9 Pie with the latest version of Oxygen OS on top.

Other major changes coming to this phone could include a much bigger battery, wireless charging and the removal of the headphone port.

OnePlus will also live-stream the OnePlus 6T launch event on their website. In India, OnePlus 6T will be available exclusively on Amazon.in with an expected starting price of around Rs 35,000.
