What is most important in life? After a full day of music and second-hand smoke from apparently numerous glaucoma patients is trying to find a place to eat after midnight.
Unfortunately after Day 1 of Coachella, me and my friend Trissa were driving back from a Del Taco run when a guy standing on the corner of Washington and 111 was telling us the In N Out Burger was open until 3 am.
He also asked us why we were eating at Del Taco. Stay out of our business mom.
Just to be clear, we had called the In N Out in Indio and it said they closed at 1:30 a.m., and we called at 1:25 a.m. and were 15 minutes away.
This In N Out is the one in La Quinta on 111 between Washington and Simon. If you use Google maps, the address is 78611 Ca.- 111 in La Quinta.
Many places are open 24 hours, but you are mostly looking at fast food. There are several on 111.
A few restaurants are open late for the Coachella and Stagecoach crowd. About two years ago, the Five Guys on 111 and Washington was open late for me and my friend Ashley to get food. A reader, Jackie Parker, has confirmed they are also open until 3 a.m.
There is also a Subway tucked on the corner of Washington and Country Club, right before you hit I-10. It’s open 24 hours, if you are looking for something healthier.
