I like big portions and I cannot lie, you other brothers can’t deny.
If you are looking for a unique dining experience, Katsu Burger is the place to go. It’s big burgers that are breaded Japanese style. I’m a fan of chicken katsu, so a katsu burger just sounded intriguing.
I’m in Bellevue, Wash., and haven’t had many adventurous dining experiences.
Coming from California, with our In N Out and Fatburgers, we love our burgers.
I ordered the Godzilla. I stuck with the burger, but they offer chicken, pork and tofu options on all their burgers.
The Godzilla has grass-fed beef katsu, pepper jack cheese, a 12 spice blend, jalapeños, spicy mayo and tonkatsu sauce for $8.95.
The burger was good and full of flavor. As far as spicy, I just think it was more flavorful than hot.
I also got the meal deal with fries, that came with a special dipping sauce. And the fries were really generous.
Couple of things to keep in mind. This burger does take time to make, so be patient and remember that it will be worth the wait.
The Katsu Burger is small. I came in at a busy time and there were no seats. But by the time my food came out, it cleared out. Seating in the Bellevue store was between 15-20. Sorry, didn’t think to count while I was waiting.
But Katsu Burger is a welcome addition to my burger pallet.
